Kim Soleum is a black-haired man in a black suit with a basic appearance (x) and little that helps him stand out. On his left wrist, there are two tattoos that can only be seen by himself and supernatural entities. The first reads ":恩主:" and the other says ":socius:".
When engaging with Kim Soleum, he's a man who keeps a calm composure always, and hides all his fears and worries deep inside. He's trained himself to act like a reliable and well-put together man. When it comes to his features, I'll admit in a tag if there's any visible changes to his composure, but 9/10, he's just a guy who appears to not be bothered by the situation at hand.

A coward with a hero's mentality. Despite finding himself in the world of his favorite fictional universe, the truth is that Soleum is afraid of almost anything that falls into the horror genre it occupies. If it's visibly eerie, if it's gory, if it's scary, then he can't stand the visuals or the sounds, but he is able to enjoy the text. In his current environment, there's no way to avoid this issue since he's often pitted against supernatural situations that are downright terrifying! However, Soleum has no choice but to swallow down his fear and push himself forward to get through it. He has a wish to fulfill after all. (x)

█ ABILITIES
Shadowlings
As a shadowbinder, Soleum's shadow has gained limited sentience. It can be thought of as something like a void-based companion to him, like a witch's familiar! As a reflection of his own personality, this familiar takes the shape of a cat, and his shadow can be split into a limited number of these (by distributing the surface area of Soleum's own shadow and dividing it into, say, five or more cats).
Their form is cool to the touch, only semi-corporeal, and would best be compared to putting your hand in liquid. Due to his low level of control over his own abilities (steep learning curve!) trying to hold onto them can be best compared to trying to grab and hold onto jello. They are naturally able to melt into other shadows and become one with them to hide, though their red eyes may still be visible at random points.
As an extension of himself, these familiars are primarily used for surveillance purposes. Please feel free to hit my opt-in post here if you'd like to opt-into cat surveillance, though I'll still be sure to check in OOCly before I assume that Soleum has learned anything specific. (Maybe he wasn't paying attention at the time, etc.)
And of course, also due to their nature as extensions of his own shadow and psyche, the familiars become volatile as Soleum's mental state declines. They will begin to act anywhere from capriciously to violently, taking on the personality traits of his contaminations until his mental state is recovered. Being bitten, harmed, or having one's shadow consumed by the familiars makes the target more vulnerable to succumbence for a short period, including Soleum himself.

"Roe deer" mask
A mask that covers only his eyes and nose. It has a wood-like texture, and strange antlers protrude from the top.
Palm sized crystal
A palm sized shard of cloudy crystal bound in a steel frame. When squeezed, a slow heartbeat of light pulses outward, dim but steady, mapping walls and hollows like sonar made visible. The glow reacts to nearby movement, brightening when something living shifts too close.
Nightmare
A stallion made out of shadows, parts of its body are cracked with its innards visible, and by the cranium is the brain and mush seen. Because of it's grotesque appearance, Kim Soleum never looks directly at it, and it normally hides within his shadow to give him space. When not inside, the stallion has an eccentric attitude that's upbeat and enthusiastic, but can become a menace when annoyed. Is named "Pink" in honor of his pink plush rabbit named "Brown".
